Last night was really frustrating cause I was gathering my stuff. For the Home Econs test today. So I was runnin up and down the stairs, asking mummy for stuffs. "Chef's cap & apron!" I called once. "Container!" I called out another time. "Where's the tablecloth?!" I asked repeatedly. "Mummy, Cookie-cutter!" It was really annoying lahs. And my mother couldn't remember where she left the "tablecloth". It's actually a scarf Chelle bought from India, and offered to lend it to me for today's practical. In the end I got everything I needed at around.. ... I can't remember. Except that no one could find the cookie-cutter. I was really frustrated when I got to bed, tossing and turning. Today was so chaotic. Walked out of my house carrying my crumpler and carrying two bulky paper bags. Felt like a retard. :/ Tried to purchase a cookie cutter at the convenience store, but sadly, they didn't sell any. So walked to school sadly. As usual, Ms Tay & Ms Sng didn't open the Food Lab until almost everyone was assembled. -_- How nice. I've left my Oyster Mushroom & Parmesan cheese with the Chinese Noodle's Aunty's fridge. Oh well. Math was horrible. Like I didn't have enough torture trying to solve Q8 and 10, cause I left it blank last night cause I had no idea how to do them. Then cause Ms Su wasn't in such a good mood, many people got scolded. Out of those people, I got scolded, too. "Where's your big book?!" She yelled. "I haven't buy.." "When will you buy it?!" "Today.." "Always say later, later later, also don't have!" .. "You small book don't have, big book also don't have, then what do you have?!" "My textbook..?" "By tomorrow I was to see YOUR big book, no MORE fullscap, you understand?!" "Orh.." ..... .... *lets pen fall out of hand as I have suddenly lost the mood to continue my work* *deep breaths* It's not her fault, I tried to reason with myself. I should've bought the books long ago. After math I picked my 2 bags and stepped one step, then stepped back and rummaged my bag for my Time-plan and Recipes. Satisfied, I left the classroom and proceeded to the canteen. While reaching there, I saw Jin Chuan & Solomon standing outside Aunty's 'Chinese Noodle' shop, holding on to green coloured plastic plates and bowls. "Wah, you borrowed them?" I asked. They nodded. Then I went to collect my mushroom & cheese, thanked her again, and made my way to the Kitchen. Everyone was bustling around, getting every thing they needed. I joined in after I donned my apron & cap. Worcestershire sauce is nice. :D So anyway, my chicken, being rolled up like it was, was not easy to cook in a frying pan, cause the insides will be uncooked, I should've baked but.. Baking isn't really.. My thing. Not knowing how to operate the stove in school, I asked Naufal, who so happened to pass by me. Turns out that I didn't switch on the gas, LOL. So stupid, I could've died of embarrassment. Blah, that's cause I'm used to the stove at home, ok. Don't anyhow make assumptions. I was really nervous everytime Ms Tay came from Kitchen 2 to Kitchen 1, cause the first person she'd examine is ME. :o And then Haiqal, who was beside me. Beside as in, behind. Yeah, talked to him for abit. I've never really started an actual conversation with him before, so this is my first. I mean, our first, I guess. He's actually not that bad of a friend, I guess. I loved his soup, though it was slightly too salty. Hahas, and after the test, he allowed me to have his soup to dip my pasta in during poa & english period. The teachers allowed us to eat cause we didn't get to eat our recess, although most of us finished at 11+. Up till 11:30, Ms Tay was still marking other's dishes. So we had to be patient and wait. Haiqal, Naufal and my dishes were the last three, I guess. I'm not sure about Kitchen 2, though. Haiqal left, leaving me with Naufal, Jeslyn with Vivian..? Oh yeah, and can you imagine a fire actually broke out during the exam? Everyone was busy minding their own things, when suddenly a scream got all of our attention. Every. Single. Head. Turned. To see a girl panicking, horror-struck, as the frying pan in front of her had flames licking hungrily, and the flames were rising higher and higher. Within seconds, the burning-smoky smell could be smelt within the whole kitchen. But also, within half a minute, the fire died, cause the girl switched off the fire, after listening to what her friend had suggested. So Vivan, the girl who's saucepan was on fire, hurriedly took the opportunity to carry the saucepan all the way to the sink and let cold-water run on it. There was a loud, sizzling noise, and more smoke emitted out from the saucepan which was already smoky. It was scary but after seeing that the fire had died, everyone went back to do their exam. After cleaning up my area, having set-up my table, realizing I've left my tablecloth in my bag in class.. I noticed why my hand was hurting slightly just now. On my left hand, above my pinky finger, was a streak of pink, about 1cm long, beaded with red. Hm, I wonder how I've got THAT cut from. :/ Sadly, my table setting was nothing but a mere decoration to Ms Tay, as she didn't even have a second glance at the table setting. ): At least I took pictures. And at least the picture would appear in my portfolio.. And at least the presentation matters also.. .... I'm tired. Due to Ms Su's fiery temper today, she's decided to give us alot of homework, since she thinks that she gives too little, too little that so many people don't bother to do, or forget that there was even homework to do. Today's post is reallyyyyy long. I have like, 9 math Questions to do, plus another 6, which I completed 5 of them alr, and I still have.. Chinese? Yours truly; Belle♥ | ||||
