But, when you're not here to listen, I don't know what I should do.

I tried my very best to act like I've not been thinking of anything.
Until assembly.
I asked Bryan about some stuff,
and then wished I hadn't even agreed to him asking him stuff.
Okay, I know most of my friends already know whom I'm referring to in the latter.
I still think I shouldn't say it, though.
It's not really nice when too many people know about it.
So, let's just call him..
Um, let me think.
C. Cause it stands for, uh, nevermind.
Becky and many others would most probably puke.

I had already repeated myself over and over again to Bryan,
"Not to tell C that I like him until the end of exams."
Heck, how would you feel if your friends found out that you like someone else,
before you found out for yourself?
According to Jackson,
he said I've been liking him since CNY?
Impossible.
Becky wasn't sure, though.
But she had realised it wayyyyyy before I did.
Bryan knew I was bound to like him.
None of them said anything to me.
Until now.
After I've asked them.

So anyway, Bryan WENT to ask C last night.
While I was staring into the darkness,
under my blanket.
Thus resulting in me not being able to sleep for a bit,
cause I was nervous and stuff cause apparently,
they have been talking about positive and negative stuffs about me.
I know I have my flaws.
Alot of them, actually.
But never mind about that,
I hope I will learn.

During Assembly I asked Bryan what they talked about last night.
And then the truth dawned on me.
I couldn't believe I was so stupid.
Of course, why didn't I think that he has someone else in mind?
Always so stupid.
Regretting that I've let Bryan talk to C.
Cause I know Becky wouldn't do this to me.
I couldn't be myself in class,
though I could keep up with the lessons..
With an empty expression.
Haikal, Hazim, Shakir, Jackson, Zhi Hao had asked me what's wrong.
I shook my head and lied that I was okay.
What could I do?
I knew I couldn't tell them yet.

So anyway C noticed and Becky talked to him.
And then she made him go accompany me after recess.
Turns out that C already knew last week,
but acted dumb.
That caught me off-guard.
I buried my face in between my knees.
It was so embarrassing!
Jackson and Becky had already siam-ed to one side,
laughing their heads off.
Turns out that I was blushing.

Gah.

After school had NAPHA,
I hope I did well.
My ankle started hurting when I was doing sit ups.
Oh well.
When I was doing my inclined pull ups,
my friends kept going,
"Mabel! 1 more, 1 more, 1 more,"
The seniors standing on the thinggy for support were like,
"She's Mabel?"
Then they were like,
"12, hurry, 5 more!"
Or something and I was like o_o
I don't even know them.

Then the rain poured down.
On and on..
So we stayed in school until the rain subsided.
Then to the convenience store we went!
And then Bryan walked me home.
I asked him why he'd followed me,
and then he plainly said someone made him.
What, too scared I break down?
Well anyway.. At least I'm not suicidal.

..Did I mention I got selected for the freakkin commonwealth essay?!
JUST CAUSE..
The staff liked my essay?!
You know, the March holiday assignment..
With dry topics..
The essay.. Mic helped with me for the first paragraph?!
BLAH.
And now I hafta add in 400+ words.
